This topic helps you work with production orders. As a rule, you send the production orders to your production shops to prepare the inventory items or menu items according to their recipes.

View a List of Production Orders

To open a list of production orders

  1. In the left pane of the Back Office Management console, click Documents, and then click Production Orders.
    This opens a list of registered Production orders similar to the following screen:

    This page defines the following control elements:
    • Make Order: creates new production order.
    • Copy: clones selected order.
    • Delete: deletes selected order(s).
    • Filter: filters the list by specified criteria.
  2. To view or edit existing order, click the order number in PO# column (for details, see “View and Edit Orders” later in this topic).

Filter the Orders List

The filter allows you to cause the list to display only orders that match specified criteria. 

To filter the production orders list

  1. Click Filter.
    The Filters form opens:
  2. In this form, specify the filter criteria, such as the order status or the production shop.
  3. Click Filter to apply the filter, or click  Clear, to reset the filter settings. 

View and Edit Orders

To view detailed information on an order of interest or to edit that order, open the purchase orders list, and then in the PO# column, click the order number. Back Office  displays a tabbed page (see the sections later in this topic). To start working with order, navigate to the tab of interest.

“PO Details” Tab

The PO Details tab displays all positions of the production order.

On all tabs of this page, you can use the following elements:

  • Produce: creates new Production act.
  • Disassemble: (is not used)
  • Change Status: changes current status of this production order. Possible statuses: New, Sent, Partially Completed, Fully Completed, and Void
  • Edit Order: click to edit this production order.

This tab displays a list of inventory items created according to the production order:

This tab displays a history of the order status changes:

 

Create New Production Order

To create new production order

  1. In the left pane of the Back Office Management console, click Documents, and then click Production Orders.
  2. Click Make Order, and then complete the Add Order form.

To clarify this procedure, consider the form that adds an order to produce two elements:

TIP: To cause the left pane of the form to display only inventory items of interest, start typing the item name in the Search field. 

To complete the Add Order form

  1. Add selected items to the right pane using the icon 
  2. Complete the fields: Production ShopMaterial Location, Product Location, and specify the production date.
  3. For each position of order, specify the quantity of elements to produce in Qty.
  4. Click Save.

Copy an Existing Order

To help you create new order, you can clone an existing order (let us call it the base order), and then modify the base order as necessary.

To copy an order

  1. In the left pane of the Back Office Management console, click Documents, and then click Production Orders.
  2. From the orders list that opens, select a base order, and then click Duplicate.
    The Add Order form opens.
  3. Update the order as necessary.

Delete Order(s)

You can delete one or several orders.

To delete order(s)

  1. In the left pane of the Back Office Management console, click Documents, and then click Production Orders.
  2. From the orders list, select order(s) to delete.
  3. Click Delete.

NOTE: Some orders (for example, the production orders used to create Acts of production) cannot be deleted.
