About Return Acts

Return Acts let you record information on returning inventory items that have been received according to a particular Act of Receiving. The Return Acts also indicate a reason of the return operation (such as, spoilage, poor-quality, etc.).  The inventory items are suppossed to be returned back to the vendor written tn the Act of Receiving, if any. 

NOTEApplying Return Acts results in a decrease of the inventory items balance.

Create New Return Act

To create new Return Act

  1. In the left pane of the Back Office Management console, click the Documents node, and then click Journal.
    This opens Journal of documents.
  2. On the upper menu bar, click Return.
    This opens the Choose Receiving popup window similar to the following screen:

  3. In the Choose Receiving window, select an Act of Receiving  that contains inventory items to return back to the vendor, and then click ОК.
    This opens the New Return Act form similar to the following screen:

  4. For each item to return, do the following:
    • In the Return column, turn toggle-button on.
    • In the Returned Qty column, specify an amount to return.
  5. Click Save (to save this Act without applying changes) or Save and Apply (to save this Act and apply changes).

NOTE: The total price of all returned inventory items (in the currency units) is displayed next to Total.
